Framework & Questions

The study is driven by a number of overarching and specific research questions which all align with our conceptual research framework.

Conceptual research framework

Our conceptual research framework is based on a holistic view of the child that considers development across the lifespan in the context of multiple levels of influence that occur during each stage of the life course and also accumulate over time.

Overarching and specific research questions

Four overarching longitudinal research questions drive the study. A further 19 specific research questions address the overarching questions in more detail and all align with our conceptual framework. Our overarching and specific research questions are described here.
